Zonar Systems, a Telematics company based out of Seattle, reached out to Tempest Technologies to help bring their Conference Room Technology up-to-date. Tempest Technologies Sales and Engineering personnel met with representatives from Zonar and did a deep dive in to what their goals were for these rooms. We learned that the rooms needed to be simple to use for a broad user base, IT didn't want to spend a lot of time troubleshooting and supporting the rooms, and that connecting with remote team members was critical to their business operation.
Using our takeaways from that meeting, Tempest
designed and integrated a system that allows a single cable connection to the customer's laptop. Using this connection they can present connect and connect to the in-room conferencing system.
We really enjoyed working with Tempest. They have a service that no one else really offers which is providing drawing elevations to the contractor. They have expertise in lighting and furniture integration too. We brought them to stakeholder meetings and contractor meetings.
I wouldn’t work with anyone else. They really made my life easier. AV can be done really poorly and not everyone is an expert. Just because you know how to mount a TV and pull wire does not an integrator make… I’ve found that out of the hard way before.
